Basstraps are an essential part of any professional music studio, recording room or control room. Taking into account the laws of physics, the positioning in the corner with a generous distance to the wall is the optimal location to absorb all low frequencies and to neutralize room modes. At the same time, basstraps form the important foundation of room acoustics in order to achieve a detailed and tidy sound.

High absorption in the lower frequencies. A linear and uniform sounding room is created with the massive and heavy bass trap from MW-Acoustics. Thanks to their high sound absorption capacity, the bass traps of the PREMIUM model series are ideal for reducing annoying booming and humming in the lowest frequency ranges.

Unsere Bassfalle "Extreme" ist mit einer Höhe von 220cm und 37kg Gesamtgewicht, ein echter Brocken für jede Raumecke. Auch die überdimensionale Breite von 105cm besteht nicht ohne Grund: Durch den entstehenden Hohlraum hinter dem Modul beseitigt die Bassfalle selbst Frequenzen effektiv bis 20 Hz. Die Behandlung des Bassbereichs bildet das Fundament einer guten Raumakustik. Zur Absorption tiefer Frequenzen wird eine hohe effektive Dicke des Absorbers benötigt. Dies kann nur durch eine hohe Materialstärken und durch einen Wandabstand erreicht werden.

Für den professionellen Anwender wurde diese Bassfalle entwickelt, um ohne Kompromisse das beste Klangergebnis im Tieftonbereich zu erzielen. Je tiefer der Frequenzbereich desto größer und voluminöser müssen die Maßnahmen werden, um signifikante Verbesserung zu hören. Mit der Bassfalle "Extreme" haben wir diese besondere, extrem massive und zugleich spezielle Bassfalle konzipiert, um ein für allemal Ruhe im unteren Bassbereich zu bekommen.
Eine durchdachte und massive
Konstruktion macht es möglich.
Durch die komplexe, trapezförmige und schwere Konstruktion von 37 kg schmiegt sich unsere Bassfalle "Extreme" nahtlos jeder Raumecke an. Durch eine Höhe von 220cm und der vordere Gesamtbreite von 105cm bildet sich somit eine effektive Gesamttiefe von stolzen 55cm bis zur Raumecke. Erst in Verbindung mit dem großflächigen hinteren Hohlraum und der Elemententiefe von 21cm, kann die Bassfalle "Extreme" ihre einzigartige Wirkung erzeugen, um effektiv bis 20 Hz. zu absorbieren.

The basstrap for
corners and edges
The bass trap from the "Wrap" - line is intentionally light-designed bass trap that can be easily and quickly placed in difficult places with self-adhesive strips. The big advantage: The bass trap can be easily placed near the ceiling at room corners, where it occupies minimal space. Due to the large volume, low-frequency areas are also effectively absorbed here, so that a detailed perception of the room sound can be created.

A perfect match
To make the sweet spot area sound even more detailed and linear, we offer our bass trap "Wrap". It is intentionally kept very lightweight so that you can easily place it obove ground in corners close to the ceiling using the adhesive tape provided.
Lightweight does not equal light effect!
Attach them to the edges of the ceiling around your workstation so that you can perceive your sound in the low-frequency bass range with even more detail - because ceiling edges should be treated along with any other corners in the room!

Our bass absorbers in Tri-Trap shape are the perfect solution for optimizing the low-frequency sound range, effectively reducing annoying reverberation and thus perceiving a clearly noticeable improvement in the acoustics. Thanks to their precise 90° angle, they fit seamlessly into any room corner and ceiling edge, provide a sophisticated look and - depending on the model - can also be used stacked on top of each other. In combination with other absorbers and diffusers, they create a perfect sound image in which all frequency ranges are heard in detail. Due to their excellent manufacturing, the bass traps from MW-Acoustics in the PREMIUM and WRAP model series are ideally suited for use in recording studios, control rooms, recordings, home theaters and high-end applications. All bass traps of the model series Premium can be combined with all other acoustic elements from the "Premium" line.

Handcrafted from high quality acoustic fabric, sewn acoustic fabric covers, and high quality wood, the products in both model lines are quick and easy to place. The basstraps from the WRAP line are deliverd self-adhesive, so that they can be easily and quickly placed into corners. Likewise, this also makes it easy to quickly attach them to the edges of ceilings in order to optimize the sound even in difficult places. In contrast, the basstraps from the PREMIUM line persuade with their extremely massive and heavy construction, which allows them to be stacked on top of each other or to be used as a shelf for the monitor speakers.
